An Interview With Rapper And Wrestling Superfan RighteousReg Plus Reviews Of Halloween Havoc ’95, And Episode 6 From Season 1 Of Lucha Underground- Episode 91

For Episode 91, we kick things off with an excellent interview we did with rapper, wrestling super-fan, and friend of the show, RighteousReg. We talk rap, R&B, song creation, musical influences and all sorts of other things with Reg. But, beyond that, we talk a lot of wrestling as Reg also attended many of the same events in Dallas as we did. His thoughts on the current state of WWE, and especially black wrestlers, is enlightening and truly rounds out an excellent interview we think you will enjoy.

From there, we go Back To The Front Lines of the Monday Night War as we review Halloween Havoc 1995. Following our extreme displeasure with Fall Brawl ’95, we went into Halloween Havoc ’95 with low expectations. It ended up being a pretty good PPV. Could Hulk Hogan turn back the challenge of The Giant for the WCW World Championship? What would happen with Lex Luger and “Macho Man” Randy Savage? Could Sting and Ric Flair co-exist against Arn Anderson and Flyin’ Brian? We review, analyze, and critique an event that was equal parts good and odd all at the same time.

We then close down Episode 91 by going Back To The Temple and reviewing Episode 6 from Season 1 of Lucha Underground. This Episode was called “The Key”.  Son of Havoc would try and get back on track but would he be derailed by yet another oddity of Lucha Underground? Mil Muertes was in action as well. Could he be slowed down at all? Could King Cuerno gain a measure of revenge against Drago? And speaking of revenge, could Sexy Star get her some when she teamed with Fenix to tangle with Pentagon Jr. and Chavo Guerrero Jr? We run through all the excitement of another very good Episode of Lucha Underground here on Episode 91.

And please stick around to the end of the Episode as we play the new song “March” from RighteousReg. Please note that some language in that song may be offensive to some listeners so exercise discretion. And by all means, check out RighteousReg on Soundcloud at the following link: https://soundcloud.com/search?q=righteousreg
