Episode 205 covers a variety of topics but it begins with a very cool behind the scenes look at Dynamo Pro Wrestling’s recent Riot On The River Finals.  About a week prior to the event, Dave was joined by three of the key figures involved on that great card to discuss the card and their thoughts on the big final matchup. Dave first spoke with Dynamo Pro founder Luke Roberts, who provided some great information and insight into Dynamo Pro in general and the Riot On The River III card. From there, Dave spoke with “Lights Out” Adrian Surge about one of the biggest matches of his young career. Dave then concludes this trilogy of Dynamo Pro interviews as he spoke with the Dynamo Pro Champion, Brandon Aarons, about the final matchup with Adrian Surge and the tournament so far. For fans of Dynamo Pro wrestling, you will absolutely enjoy these interviews as we go behind the scenes with three of the most important persons involved in the biggest event of the summer for Dynamo Pro.

Dave then reviews the July 17, 2017 edition of Raw. With a ton of reviews coming out in relation to the Summer Slam Spectacular Episode, this long overdue review of an important episode of Raw is one of many that sets the stage for the biggest event of the summer. On this episode, the reuniting of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose begins in earnest as the former brothers battle through their own mutual distrust of one another to take on a common enemy in The Miz and the Miztourage. Bayley would continue to rebuild her momentum with a win over the Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss. Hostilities continued involving Big Cass, the Big Show and Enzo Amore, Elias Samson crushed Finn Balor with his guitar, Akira Tozawa and Ariya Daivari jockeyed to try and become #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship, and The Revival took on The Hardys in a match where wrestling’s past met its future. In the Main Event, Roman Reigns went one on one with Samoa Joe to determine who would challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Summer Slam. Braun Strowman, however, had other ideas about the entire situation. If you missed anything from this critical episode of Raw, then tune in to Episode 205 to get caught up on the details.

From there, it is the return of the NJPW segment of the show. AXS TV broadcast the final two matches of the phenomenal Dominion event from the Osaka-Jo Hall on 6/11/17 and Dave recaps those amazing matches for you here on Episode 205. First up, Hiroshi Tanahashi tried to bring honor and respect to not just the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, but to himself as well. Standing between him and this goal was the incomparable Tetsuya Naito. These two old rivals put on another classic. Did the old guard stand tall again or would Naito continue his disrespectful reign as IC Champ?  In the Main Event, it was one of the most eagerly anticipated matches in recent memory as Kenny Omega took on Kazuchka Okada for the IWGP Championship in a rematch of their six-star classic from Wrestle Kingdom 11. Did the sequel live up to expectations and why, in the minds of many, did it exceed the original? Tune in to Episode 205 for a full recap and analysis of another masterpiece between these two incredible competitors.

We then close up shop on Episode 205 as Dave interviews writer and wrestling historian, Jay Sandlin. Dave and Jay discuss super heroes, geek culture and, of course, pro wrestling. We invite you to join us for an interview we are sure will entertain you.
