FastLane ’16 Review- Episode 76

Share

The Road To WrestleMania took its last major exit last night in Cleveland at FastLane 2016. Three championships were on the line and, more importantly, we would find out exactly who would be facing Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32, just six weeks away.

Here on Episode 76, we put an exclamation mark on the ton of content we have provided for you Aggressionaholics this past week as we review, discuss, analyze, and, in some cases, bemoan what happened at FastLane. Did Alberto Del Rio reclaim the United States Championship or would Kalisto’s impressive run continue? Could Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch effectively co-exist? Who would win the final battle (maybe) between Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler and, more importanly, leave with the Intercontinental Championship? Would The Wyatt Family continue its decimation of the so-called Titans of WWE? Could Brie Bella ride a huge wave of emotion to a win over Charlotte to capture the Divas Title? And who would win the rubber match between AJ Styles and Chris Jericho?

Of course, all that was secondary when compared to the big Triple Threat match between Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Brock Lesnar. Who would prevail and emerge as the #1 contender to take on Triple H at WrestleMania? What did we think of the ending? Why did Twitter and the Internet explode with such displeasure when the final 3 of the evening came down? And what exactly does this mean for WWE heading into WrestleMania 32…and for pro wrestling fans in general?

We cover all this in a very thorough analysis of FastLane ’16 here on Episode 76.
