On Episode 190, the guys continue to try and play catch up as they review Raw and Smackdown Live from May 1 and 2, 2017, the Payback fallout episodes for both shows.

The May 1 edition of Raw saw the new Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss, declare herself a Goddess among the Women’s division as she addressed the rest of the ladies. Naturally, this led to an 8-Woman Tag Team match with Alexa, Alicia Foxx, Nia Jax and Emma teaming up against Bayley, Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke, and Mickie James. Cesaro & Sheamus explained why they attacked the Hardy Boyz after their match at Payback, Bray Wyatt introduced himself to  Raw GM Kurt Angle, and Austin Aries and TJP renewed hostilities against each other. In the Main Event, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and The Miz squared off in an excellent Triple Threat match to determine the new #1 contender for Dean Ambrose’s Intercontinental Championship. Who won and how did it all go down? We let you know on Episode 190.

We then shift gears to Smackdown Live on May 2 that got going with Shane McMahon reclaiming the WWE Championship belt from Jinder Mahal and introducing us to the new United States Champion, Chris Jericho. AJ Styles and Kevin Owens both staked their own claims to the title but with KO getting his rematch with Jericho tonight, and AJ being barred from ringside, things would take an interesting turn. Who won the hard fought rematch and what happened afterwards that likely saw the exit of one of the two combatants for the foreseeable future? We let you know on Episode 190. In other action, Sami Zayn took on Jinder Mahal, Dolph Ziggler continued to trash talk Shinsuke Nakamura and then took out Sin Cara, and battle lines continued to be drawn between The “Welcoming Committee” and the fledgling alliance of the Smackdown Women’s Champion, Naomi, and Charlotte. Would Becky Lynch pick a side? We let you know on Episode 190.
