Episode 111 was recorded in two parts due to the Holiday weekend. In the first part, Dave and Ol Gator review Monday Night Raw from June 27, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. John Cena and AJ Styles did their best to insert themselves into the Triple Threat match at Battleground for the WWE Championship. If Cena could beat Seth Rollins and AJ Styles could beat the WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose, we would end up with a Fatal Four/Five way at Battleground. How did that all turn out? We let you know on Episode 111. The Miz was back and he would face a surprise challenger for his Intercontinental Championship. Who was that surprise opponent and did The Miz hold onto his title? On The Chris Jericho Highlight Reel, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn moved closer to a final clash at Battleground. Meanwhile, The New Day did their best impression of The Wyatt Family, Titus O’Neil battled Rusev, and Becky Lynch showed that she has a bit of a nasty streak to her. In the second part of this Episode, Dave flies solo as he recaps NXT and Smackdown. On NXT, Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura discussed their upcoming battle. Alexa Bliss and Carmella tangled with each other with both of them eyeing a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa squared off against The Hype Bros. Could Gargano and Ciampa continue their rise up the ranks of the NXT Tag Team division and stake a claim to challenge The Revival for those coveted titles?
