On Episode 177, we continue to gear up for WrestleMania 33. We begin by making sure we leave no stone unturned as we review the March 20, 2017 installment of Raw. On this episode, the inevitable finally happened as Mick Foley was fired by Stephanie McMahon. The ripple effect of that would be felt all night. Sami Zayn was thrust into a match with Samoa Joe. Bayley had to face Nia Jax in a No DQ match and if Nia won, she would be added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania, turning that bout into a Fatal Four Way. Charlotte took on her former protege Dana Brooke, Chris Jericho introduced us to the real Kevin Owens, and Sheamus and Cesaro fought for their WrestleMania spots in a 2-on-4 handicap match against Gallows and Anderson and Enzo and Big Cass. Triple H proposed a very unique match to Seth Rollins for WrestleMania 33. In the Main Event, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman went at it for the first time since Fastlane. Actually, for Taco, it was his first time here but for Tommy Stryker, he was used to the kind of antics he would surely face.
