Episode 166 gets you up to speed and all caught up as we get ready for Elimination Chamber 2017.

Dave and his lovely wife go through the week in review. We begin with Raw, which saw Samoa Joe sign his Raw contract…and get immediately challenged by Roman Reigns. Who would prevail in that WrestleMania worthy Main Event? Goldberg showed up to answer the challenge of Brock Lesnar for a final showdown at WrestleMania 33. Along the way, Goldberg ended up with a Universdal Championship match against Kevin Owens at FastLane. How did that come to pass? We let you know on Episode 166. Chris Jericho defended the United States Championship against Sami Zayn. Could the Underdog of the Underground finally capture singles gold at the Main Roster level? We have all the details for you on Episode 166.

It is then on to Smackdown Live for the go-home show for Elimination Chamber. We saw a hige Fatal Four Way between Dean Ambrose, The Miz, AJ Styles and Baron Corbin. Who gained momentum heading into Elimination Chamber? In the Main Event, John Cena and Randy Orton renewed their long-standing rivalry in a possible WrestleMania 33 Main Event preview. Who emerged victorious in the latest installment of this classic rivalry? We let you know on Episode 166.

It is then on to 205 Live where a Fatal 5 Way Elimination match took place to determine who would get to challenge Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship at FastLane. TJ Perkins, Noam Dar, Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, and Jack Gallagher battled for the right to try and dethrone the King of the Cruiserweights next month. Who came out on top? We let you know on Episode 166.

It is then on to NXT where SAniTY’s Killian Dane and Alexander Wolfe took on The Bollywood Boyz and would then pull double duty later on that night as they were joined by Eric Young in Six Man Tag Team action against Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong and No Way Jose. Liv Morgan took on Billie Kaye and The Revival looked to get back on track against Heavy Machinery. How did it all play out? We let you know on Episode 166.

From there, it is the return of the one and only Ol’ Gator as he and Dave preview Elimination Chamber ’17. The guys offer their thoughts and analysis as to all the big matches. Who leaves with the Smackdown Live Tag Team and Women’s titles? Who will win the very personal war between Nikki Bella and Natalya? Can Mickie James turn back the challenge of Becky Lynch? Will Randy Orton stop Luke Harper? And, most importantly, who leaves the Elimination Chamber as the WWE Champion and moves on to face Randy Orton in the Main Event of WrestleMania 33? The guys let you know here on Episode 166.

But Dave and Ol’Gator aren’t done there. We close Episode 166 down with an interview with Popanimecomics’ Andrew Davis. Andrew and the guys discuss a wide range of topics involving pro wrestling, comics and pop culture in an interview we think is the perfect way to cap off a content heavy Episode 166.
