Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from all of us here at the Attitude Of Aggression. Episode 156 is our first Episode of 2017 and, on this Episode, Dave and his lovely wife recap events from the final week of 2016.

We begin with the Raw after Christmas from Chicago. Seth Rollins would try and exact some revenge against Braun Strowman. Meanwhile, in a reversal of stipulations from Roadblock, Roman Reigns defended the United States Championship against the Universal Champion, Kevin Owens. The New Day looked to become three-time Tag Team Champions as they took on the new Raw Tag Team Champions, Sheamus and Cesaro. Bayley battled Charlotte but, this time, Dana Brooke was the special ref. The self-professed King of the Cruiserweights, Neville, went one on one with the inaugural CWC champion, TJ Perkins. How did everything play out on the final Raw of 2016? We let you know here on Episode 156.

Smackdown Live beat Raw in the ratings for the first time since the Draft as the Wildcard Finals did not disappoint. John Cena returned and threw down a challenge for the WWE World Champion at the Royal Rumble. A Four Corners match for the Smackdown Live Tag Team titles, pitting American Alpha vs The Usos vs Heath Slater and Rhyno vs The New Wyatt Family, saw a surprising ending. Alexa Bliss defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against the former champion, Becky Lynch. In the Main Event, AJ Styles defended the WWE Title in a Triple Threat match against Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin. Who left Chicago with the WWE World Championship on the final Smackdown Live of 2016? We let you know on Episode 156.

On 205 Live, we saw the first ever Gentlemen’s Duel between Daivari and Jack Gallagher. In the Main Event, Neville tried to prove he was, in fact, the King of the Cruiserweights as he took on the reigning Cruiserweight Champion , Rich Swan. Did Neville back up his claims to be the King of the Cruiserweights or did the reigning Cruiserweight Champion bring Neville’s kingdom to it’s knees? We let you know on Episode 156.

NXT this past week was a showing of the December 3, 2016 show from Osaka, Japan. The show was Main Evented by Shinsuke Nakamura defeating Samoa Joe to recapture the NXT Championship and that match was reviewed a couple of weeks ago. But there were other great matches on this card as well including Oney Lorcan vs Andrade “Cien” Almas, Aliyah and Liv Morgan vs. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, DIY defending the NXT Tag Team Titles vs Akira Tozawa and Tajiri, and Asuka defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Nia Jax. How did things play out in the Land of the Rising Sun? Tune in to Episode 156 to find out.

But that is not all we have for you on Episode 156. To the contrary, actually, as we have a great interview for you. Dave interviewed The Ugandan Warrior, an up and coming wrestler currently residing in the UK and recuperating from knee surgery. The Ugandan Warrior recaps his career so far, his favorite matches, his thoughts on the industry, and particularly the white-hot scene in the UK, and numerous other topics. It is a great first interview for the New Year and one we know you Aggressionaholics will enjoy.
