The past week in the WWE has seen the landscape of pro wrestling’s preeminent organization changed completely. Seth Rollins, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, sustained a devastating knee injury while performing at a house show in Ireland on Tuesday, November 3. This injury is such that Seth will be out of action for the next 6-9 months. WWE did what they had to do and vacated the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, with a new champion set to be crowned at a tournament at the 2015 Survivor Series. One cannot overstate just how far reaching an impact this injury will have and Episode 48 does its best to analyze the injury, and it’s impact, and how things might play out over the coming weeks and months.

Still, we try and keep things in perspective as we review Raw, which took place the night before Seth’s injury, as there were important matters to address there. For one, a Diva’s Fatal Four Way took place between Sasha Banks, Paige, Brie Bella and Becky Lynch, with the winner getting a shot at Charlotte for the Diva’s Title at Survivor Series. Who emerged from that match as the new #1 contender? Plus, there was a traditional 5 on 5 Survivor Series match at Raw this past week between Team Rollins and Team Reigns. Who did Seth recruit for his team and what major return took place on Roman’s team that is sure to invigorate the Tag Team division. In what will be the last in-ring action we see for Seth for quite some time, we have the results of a very good Survivor Series style match for you on Episode 48.

We then shift our focus to NXT, where major things were afoot as well. The NXT Championship was on the line as Finn Balor defended the title against the #1 contender, Apollo Crews. It was a great match between two world class competitors. Who emerged victorious and came away with the belt? And what shocking turn of events transpired at the end of the night to alter the landscape of NXT for the foreseeable future. We have those answers for you on Episode 48.

We then review Smackdown, a largely forgettable show this week with a couple of exceptions. We get a traditional 4 on 4 Survivor Series match between the Wyatt Family vs The Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons. With Bray Wyatt claiming to have harvested the souls of the Undertaker and Kane, what chance did the PTP and Lucha Dragons really have in this match? As you will find out, they had no real chance at all. Plus we review the match between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens and we explain why we were rather disappointed with it. All this and much more in Episode 48.
