The Spirit Squad challenged Heath Slater and Rhyno for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship and Alexa Bliss had the last word in her confrontation with the returning Smackdown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch. In the Main Event, Dean Ambrose took on AJ Styles and if Dean could win, he would be named the #1 contender to AJ’s WWE World Championship. James Ellsworth would, once again, play a major role in the outcome of an AJ Styles match. What went down? We have all the details for you on Episode 143.

On NXT, the first round of the Dusty Classic Tag Team Tournament wrapped up with two more matches. We then move on to Dave’s interview with pro wrestler, Evren Orion, also known as The Collective Being.
