Episode 126 is all about Summer Slam 2016. But it is more than just a review of the PPV as we tie in the leading stories from Raw and Smackdown Live, that took place 24 and 48 hours after the event respectively, to give you a comprehensive overview of all the major developments that made up an incredible and historic 72 hours for the WWE.

As for Summer Slam ’16, we review all 13 matches, from the first Kickoff show match right down to the bloody conclusion of Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton. Who drew first blood in the best of seven series between Sheamus and Cesaro? Could Enzo & Big Cass win against the team of Jeri-KO? Could Charlotte reclaim the WWE Women’s Championship? Could Apollo Crews capture the Intercontinental Championship? What former Diva’s Champ made her surprising return? Could AJ Styles become the new face that runs the place or was he humbled by John Cena? Did Dean Ambrose retain the WWE World Championship. Could the New Day make it an entire year as our WWE World Tag Team Champions? Did Roman Reigns become the new United States Champion? Was it Seth Rollins or F inn Balor who became the first ever WWE Universal Champion? And what happened when The Viper finally met The Beast, one on one? We have all these answers and analysis for you.

If we left things there though, we would not be doing our jobs. As we review Summer Slam ’16, we also intersperse news about the incredible change of circumstances that took place on Raw just 24 hours later. We discuss Finn Balor’s shoulder injury, his need for surgery, his having to relinquish the Universal Championship, and the Fatal Four way, in Houston this coming week, that will determine the new Universal Champion. As for the Blue Brand, we look at the creation of the new Smackdown Women’s and Tag Team Championships and the upcoming Main Event at Backlash, Smackdown Live’s first brand specific PPV in September.

There is a ton of great stuff to talk about right here on Episode 126.
