From there it is on to Summer Slam ’96. The event was largely mediocre, save for the final two matches. One saw an epic Boiler Room Brawl between Mankind and The Undertaker, including an unbelievable heel turn at the end of the match. Still celebrating his boyhood dream coming true, WWF Champion Shawn Michaels defended his title against the massive Vader.
