It is the 1st Anniversary of the Attitude Of Aggression Wrestling Podcast and we celebrated things by recording quite a lot of content that we had to split into two episodes. Here on Episode 84, we celebrate our 1st Anniversary by listening to the opening moments of Episode 1 and Episode 6 (where Gatz made his debut). We also offer some of our thoughts on the most memorable moments from Year One of the Podcast. It is a fun stroll down memory lane that fans of the show, old and new, will enjoy.
From there, we review the past week in WWE as we also prepare for the go-home week for WrestleMania. On Raw, the bad blood between Roman Reigns and Triple H continued as the two men get closer to their big confrontation for the WWE World Championship in Dallas. AJ Styles and Kevin Owens battled each other in what would turn out to be one of the best matches we have seen on Raw yet this year. But the big news from Raw came from Vince McMahon, who set a new stipulation for the Undertaker vs Shane McMahon Hell In A Cell Match at WrestleMania. What did the boss come up with that makes that already huge match even bigger? Tune in to Episode 84 to find out.
We then review NXT. The NXT Champion, Finn Balor, took on Rich Swan in a good match as the Champ gets ready to take on Samoa Joe in Dallas at Takeover. Elias Samson suffered his first loss since being repackaged. Who upset The Drifter on NXT? In the Main Event, Emma battled with Asuka in a rematch of their match from Takeover: London. Could the Emmaloution stop the Empress of Tomorrow? Tune in to Episode 84 for the answers.
It is then on to Boston and Smackdown. Sasha Banks took on Charlotte in a one-on-one match that had a clean finish. Who came out on top in this match between quite possibly the two best Divas in the game? Roman Reigns would clash with Bubba Ray Dudley in a short but physical match. Brock Lesnar appeared on Smackdown and called out Dean Ambrose. Others, however, would take up the challenge. How did this all play out? Listen to Episode 84 to find out.
