Episode 222 is coming out a little bit late but we think you will agree that it was worth the slight delay.

We begin with a fantastic interview with The Last Warrior, Greywolf. The 9 year veteran, and one of the lead trainers at the prestigious Monster Factory, recently made his return to the squared circle after a year’s absence due to an injury and we were one of the first Podcasts to be able to speak with the man about where he’s been and, more important, where he is heading. It is a great interview with a very experienced and very charismatic pro wrestler that we know you will enjoy. Haruph!

From there Big Dave and Ol’ Gator recap Fastlane ’18, the very final stop on the Road to WrestleMania. While the PPV was as predictable as you thought it would be, there were still a few surprises here and there, such as Randy Orton capturing the US Championship for the first time in his illustrious career, The Bludgeon Brothers showing everyone why they are no joke, Asuka showing up to challenge Charlotte for the Smackdown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 34, and AJ Styles outlasting five other men to secure his right to face Shinsuke Nakamrua at WrestleMania for the WWE Championship.

We then shift gears to talk about the week that was following Fastlane. Raw saw Roman Reigns get temporarily suspended by Vince McMahon, had The Miz getting inside the heads of Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, and also saw John Cena challenge The Undertaker and, to some extent, question The Dead Man’s Legacy as well. On Smackdown Live, Shane McMahon stepped down as Commissioner…and was then brutalized in a vicious assault by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. On the Mixed-Match Challenge, The Robe Warriors marched on to the Semi-Finals while on 205 Live, Cedric Alexander punched his ticket to the Cruiserweight Championship match at WrestleMania in a great match with Roderick Strong. On NXT, SAniTY and the Street Profits advanced in the Dusty Classic tournament while Pete Dunne and Adam Cole put on a hell of a match for the UK Championship. We cover this and much more here on Episode 222.
