The concept for Game Gone Wrong was, initially, rather simple. More than 6 years after its last Episode, Game of Thrones’ Final Season remained one of the most controversial and divisive seasons in TV history. Dave had never watched the final season…until we decided to start Game Gone Wrong. In what was supposed to be a limited run, seven-part, special series, Dave, PC Tunney, and DJ revisited that final season one episode at a time, Dave watching it for the first time, with the goal being to answer, once and for all, was that final season as bad as so many claimed? We reached our conclusion to that project in the early part of November of 2025.
But we had such a good time doing it that we decided to bring back Game Gone Wrong in 2026 to cover the brand new spin off series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and, later on this year, the return of House of the Dragon for what promises to be an epic third season. You can follow along with us here as new Episodes will be dropping shortly after the actual episodes air on HBO Max. And, you never know what other surprises we may have along the way.
