Out Of Hibernation- Episode 252

After a three month hiatus, the Attitude of Aggression returns with a super-sized Episode! Why return now? We explore the reasons for that in this Episode.

One of the main reasons for the show to return at this time relates to the burgeoning war between AEW and WWE. To be more exact, two weeks ago, for the first time ever, both brands hosted PPV level events on the same weekend with AEW hosting Fight For The Fallen On July 13 and WWE hosting Extreme Rules o July 14. Which brand came out on top in the first of what will be many skirmishes between AEW and WWE? Big Dave recaps both events and gives you his thoughts here on Episode 252.

From there we take a look at Raw Reunion from this past Monday in Tampa, FL. It was a night of nostalgia and big returns. But, was there too much nostalgia? Are shows like this what WWE needs….or does it distract from placing the focus on the build to big shows like Summer Slam? Dave explores this as he recaps Raw Reunion.

From there, Big Dave is joined by Big Rick and Mike Knoxx from The Chairshot as they discuss the winners of The Chairshot’s Mid-Season Awards. The guys run through some great categories as we discuss the best of the best in pro wrestling for the first half of 2019. Did your favorites make the cut? Tune in and find out.

We then close out this massive Episode with some Semi-Retro reviews. Two of the PPVs nominated for PPV of the Year were NXT Takeover: New York and WrestleMania 35. Right around the time both events took place, Big Dave reviewed NXT Takeover: New York with Michael Clinco of The Wrestling Expres and reviewed WrestleMania 35 with Big Rick. Those reviews have never been released….until now. Journey back with us to the not so distant past to see what we thought about two of the best PPVs of 2019 and see if any of our thoughts as to where things were heading actually panned out.

The show is back in a big way so tune in to Episode 252 and enjoy!
