On Episode 247, Big Dave is back to talk about a whole bunch of things in the rapidly evolving world of pro wrestling. We begin the Episode as Dave is joined by Eric Jackson of Combat Arts Preservation and Education to talk about C.A.P.E., what they have going on, and to review the 2019 installment of the Royal Rumble. Eric watched the event from the Dave and Buster’s in Hollywood and he gives us some insight as to how the crowd watching on PPV reacted to all the big moments. Dave and Eric recap all the matches and highlights of one of the most beloved of all the WWE PPVs. What did they think of Asuka tapping out The Man, only to have Becky return later in the night and win the Women’s Rumble? Was the event too predictable? Can Seth Rollins slay The Beast after winning the Men’s Rumble. Tune in to Episode 247 and find out.

From there, Dave recaps the two weeks of Raw and Smackdown Live immediately following the Royal Rumble. On Raw, Becky Lynch first showed up to challenge Ronda Rousey to a Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 35, in what might very well be the biggest match in the history of Women’s wrestling. Then she had her already damaged knee damaged more by Charlotte Flair on Smackdown Live. Then she was suspended for refusing medical assistance, and also attacked Stephanie McMahon, and slapped Triple H. Quite an eventful two weeks for The Man. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar made up Seth Rollins’s mind for him as to who Seth would face at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan trashed the old WWE Championship for an Eco-Friendly title belt, R-Truth ended up as the US Champion, and Asuka, after the biggest win of her career, vanished. All that and much more as Dave brings you up to speed on the two week fall out from the Royal Rumble on Raw and Smackdown Live here on Episode 247.

We then close out the Episode by talking about AEW. To the surprise of no one, Kenny Omega signed with AEW. Double or Nothing ticket details were announced, and thousands of pro wrestling fans lost their collective minds. Big Dave offers his thoughts and opinions on AEW here in Episode 247. Is the hype justified or are people expecting too much too soon from the new fed. Tune in to Episode 247 to find out.
