On this Episode Big Dave talks about some of the biggest stories going on in WWE in quite some time.

We begin with an addendum to what was originally planned for Episode 240 as Big Dave discusses the stunning revelation that Roman Reigns (aka Leati Joseph Anoaʻi) has been battling leukemia for 11 years and must do so again. One of the most emotional scenes in the recent history of Monday Night Raw played out this past Monday and Dave shares his thoughts, feelings, and hopes for Roman at the outset of this Episode. #thankyouroman

From there, Dave recaps Smackdown 1000. Did the event live up to expectations? How was it compared to Raw 25 that took place earlier this year? What were the big stories and who left the 1000th Episode of Smackdown with momentum moving forward. Dave discusses this and much more here on Episode 240.

Dave then tackles the Crown Jewel controversy head on. It is a situation that is evolving even as this is being written. In the wake of the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, public backlash against WWE going forward with the PPV event in Riyadh on November 2, 2018 has been intense to say the least. Should the event be canceled altogether? Should it be relocated? Should it go forward as scheduled? There have been thousands of opinions on this topic over the past few weeks and here on Episode 240, Dave gives you his thoughts and opinions on a very controversial topic.

We then close out Episode 240 on a lighter note as we release the final installment of the lost Summer Slam ’17 Tapes. In this installment, Big Dave was joined by PC Tunney of the DWI Podcast, and Christopher Platt of Pod Is War, as they reviewed Summer Slam ’17. What did the guys think of the event and how have things changed since the review was recorded? It is a fun review that recaps one of the bigger events in fairly recent WWE history that we think you will enjoy.
