There is so much going on here on Episode 154 that you almost need a road map to keep it all straight.

We kick things off with a great interview Dave conducted with a name that should be very familiar to you pro wrestling fans out there…Pro Wrestling.net’s Jason Powell. Jason is one of the most knowledgeable and well-respected names out there in the pro wrestling Podcast community and he and Dave discuss all sorts of topics including Jason’s recent interview with Billy Corgan, his thoughts about Brock Lesnar, The New Day, TNA, Roadblock: End Of The Line and much, much more.

From there, we have a special treat for you Aggressionaholics as UFC Hall of Famer, Bas Ruten, called in to spend a few minutes with us as he got ready for a flight out of New York City. Bas talks to us about his career in UFC, what he expects from Ronda Rousey at UFC 207, and he even talks about his time as a pro wrestler over in New Japan Pro Wrestling. We were also joined, in studio, by MMA Fighter, Tony Garcia. Tony has been on the show a couple of times now and he stopped by to talk with his mentor and friend, Bas Ruten, to tell us about his MMA class offerings here in Bakersfield and to bring us up to date on what is happening in his world as he readies himself for an upcoming Muay Thai match.

From there, we review a historic week in WWE. We begin with Monday Night Raw, which was all about The New Day chasing history and trying to become the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. To do so, they would have to win not one, but two, Triple Threat matches. Did The New Day break Demolition’s long standing record? Sami Zayn continued to lobby for a match against Braun Strowman and kept getting shot down by Mick Foley to the point he demanded a trade to Smackdown Live. Did Mick pull the trigger on the deal? TJ Perkins took on Brian Kendrick while Big Cass stood up for his friend, Enzo, after the beating he took from Rusev last week. We have all the details for you here on Episode 154.

Over on Smackdown Live, a Fatal Four Way Elimination match was held between Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper and The Miz to determine a new #1 contender for AJ Styles’ WWE World Championship. Who came out on top to ear a shot at The Champ Who Runs The Camp on December 27? Meanwhile, a Tag Team Battle Royal was held to determine the new #1 contenders for The New Wyatt Family’s Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship. How did The Hype Bros win that Battle Royal, but lose the opportunity to challenge for the title due to Zack Ryder sustaining a serious knee injury? We discuss that here on Episode 154. Alexa Bliss would defend her Smackdown Live Women’s Title, sort of, in a rematch against Becky Lynch, while Natalya and Carmella battled each other. We have all the details for you here on Episode 154.

On 205 Live this week, Jack Gallagher took on Drew Gulak while Lince Dorado squared off against Mustafa Ali. In the Main Event, TJ Perkins went one-on-one with the Cruiserweight Champion, Rich Swan. How did everything come out? We let you know on Episode 154.

We then take a look at the 14th annual Tribute To The Troops event that featured a Fatal Four Way Tag Team match to determine who would challenge for the Raw Tag Team Titles at Roadblock: End Of The Line, The Miz taking on Apollo Crews, Dolph Ziggler teaming with American Alpha to try and get the better of The New Wyatt Family, and Roman Reigns teaming up with Big Cass to battle Rusev and Kevin Owens. But, what backstage segment got the pro wrestling world all a buzz? We let you know here on Episode 154.

We then close down our reviews of the week that was in the WWE by reviewing the latest installment of NXT. The episode began with the end of the Shinsuke Nakamura vs Samoa Joe rivalry as Nakamura defended the NXT Championship against Joe, inside a Steel Cage, in Australia. Which gladiator came out on top in this rivalry’s conclusion? From there, NXT shifted into Takeover: San Antonio mode as four qualifying matches would take place with the winners of those matches advancing to a Fatal Four Way next week, with the winner of that getting to challenge for the NXT Title in San Antonio during Royal Rumble weekend. Tye Dillinger took on Eric Young, No Way Jose went up against Andrade “Cien” Almas, Elias Samson tangled with Roderick Strong, and Bobby Roode tried to remain glorious against Oney Lorcan. Who prevailed to advance to next week’s big Fatal Four Way? We let you know on Episode 154.

Last, but certainly not least, is our Roadblock: End of The Line preview show as Pro Wrestling Dot Biz’s, Greg DeMarco, returned to the show to preview the final PPV of 2016, and the final Raw exclusive PPV of 2016. Can Big Cass beat Rusev? Can Sami Zayn last 10 minutes against Braun Strowman? Can Sheamus and Cesaro end the incredible reign of The New Day? Will Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho steal the show? Who leave Pittsburgh with the Cruiserweight Championship in a Triple Threat match between Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins and Rich Swan? Who will come out as the winner of the amazing Sasha Banks vs Charlotte rivalry as the two women settle the score in a 30 Minute Iron Woman match? And can Roman Reigns beat Kevin Owens and become a dual champion? We let you know our thoughts here in a content packed Episode 154.
