There is a Roadblock on the Road To WrestleMania. Here on Episode 78, we discuss all the latest developments in WWE as the upcoming Network Special sure took on an added level of importance this past week.

We begin by looking at Monday Night Raw. How exactly did Dean Ambrose vs Triple H come to pass? Well it all started this past Monday on Raw and we have all the details for you as to how the match many wanted to see be the Main Event at WrestleMania is instead going to take place in Toronto, on March 12, at the live event newly dubbed Roadblock. The New Day took on Y2AJ. What happened in that match that gave the hottest new team in WWE a shot at the Tag Titles this coming week on Raw? We were supposed to get a #1 contender for Charlotte’s Divas Title on Raw this week when Sasha Banks tangled with Becky Lynch. What very familiar finish did we see to turn the Divas Title match at WrestleMania on its ear. Dean Ambrose battled Alberto Del Rio. What transpired, though, to make that match rather inconsequential? We have all the answers for you on Episode 78.

We then move on to NXT. What major former TNA Champion made his debut on NXT…and what NXT Superstar crashed the party? Emma, The Vaudevillains, and Elias Samson were all in action as well. But the real highlight of the night was the Main Event match between the NXT Champion, Finn Balor and the former, but longest reigning in history, NXT Champion, Neville. Two men very familiar with each other put on an absolute masterpiece. Who emerged victorious in the end? Tune in to Episode 78 to find out.

We then move to Smackdown and Atlanta where people were in a good mood following the announcement that The Freebirds were heading to the Hall of Fame. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks met once again to try and determine the #1 contender for the Diva’s Title. Would there by a victor this time out? Kofi Kingston took on AJ Styles, The Miz looked to upset Dolph Ziggler again, and The Usos took on the League of Nations. The Main Event would see the resumption  of one of the better rivalries in pro wrestling today as Intercontinental Champion, Kevin Owens, took on the former champion, Dean Ambrose. With Ambrose still injured, it looked to be as good a situation as possible for KO to finally get that elusive win over him. Did things play out that way? We let you know on Episode 78.

We finish up Episode 78 by with a Creative Corner segment. We came up with an idea for a new championship and discussed the pros and cons of what we are calling the Absolute Championship. Curious about the details? Give Episode 78 a listen and see what you think.
